I am happy to announce that the newest plant in my garden is a Gardenia. Hopefully, the rest of my plants do not get jealous. The Gardenia has the richest and deepest dark green leaves and has the most beautiful velvety white flowers. There are over thirty buds that are about to bloom. My hope is that some of those incredible flowers bloom in time for Easter. I can hardly wait to bask in the fragrance each flower produces. God certainly knew what He was doing when he created this floral plant. I wonder which brings more joy to God's heart; the beauty of this plant or the Joy that fills my heart having this gardenia in my garden? The question is rhetorical.
